We’re hosting our very first Fruition IT technical debate for the Leeds programming community!
Join us at the Leeds tech hub FutureLabs on Thursday 2nd March from 6pm where we will be debating ‘Java v’s Scala : The Odd Couple’
Neil Dunlop Principal Consultant at Infinity Works will be fronting as team Java presenting a host of cool new and exciting applications of Java.
Jon Humble Principal Engineer at Sky Betting & Gaming will be taking the reins at team SCALA presenting it as the new superior technology.
Team Java or Team SCALA which side will you take on the debate?

Jon Humble, Principal Engineer at Sky Betting & Gaming – SCALA
Jon is a Principal Functional Programmer (Scala, Akka, Erlang, JS), Agile Champion (Certified Scrum Master) and Team Leader. Jon has over twenty years experience and is currently the Principal Engineer at SKYBET.
